This is Seek Discomfort’s “Leve Leve” Tee, designed from São Tomé and Príncipe’s famous phrase “Leve leve” meaning “slowly, slowly”, though it’s meaning is much deeper than that.  It is a reminder to the island nation’s inhabitants to slow down, to treat others with kindness and fully enjoy the present moment despite how fast life moves around us.  And hopefully as more people see this message, it can move beyond São Tomé and Príncipe and be a powerful reminder for us all.
