By entering this contest, you agree to the following terms:

1. Eligibility

• Open to all photographers, 18 years or older, regardless of skill level or location.
• Employees of Seek Discomfort and their immediate families are not eligible.
• The contest runs from September 18, 2024, to December 8, 2024.

2. Submission Guidelines

• Each participant may submit up to six (6) original photos per entry, with a maximum of three (3) entries per person.
• All entries must be submitted through the official contest page at seekdiscomfort.com.
• Photos must be captured using a camera (digital or film) and cannot be AI-generated or heavily edited beyond standard post-processing (e.g., cropping, exposure adjustments).
• Images must be high-resolution in  JPEG format and no larger than 10MB.
• Photos should not contain visible logos, trademarks, or branded items, except for Seek Discomfort branding.
• For any recognizable individuals in the photos, participants must obtain consent for submission and use by Seek Discomfort. Proof of consent may be required.

3. Judging Criteria

• Entries will be judged on quality, creativity, and the ability to capture the spirit of adventure and exploration.
• Winners will be selected by a panel chosen by Seek Discomfort. All decisions are final.

4. Prizes

• Prizes will be awarded to the top three entries (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place). Winners will be announced on Seek Discomfort's Instagram and via email.

5. Copyright and Usage Rights

• Participants retain full ownership of their images.
• By submitting, participants grant Seek Discomfort a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, modify, and publish the images for promotional purposes related to this contest and future marketing for up to 2 years. This includes use on Seek Discomfort's social media, website, and marketing materials.
• Seek Discomfort will make reasonable efforts to credit photographers when sharing their images.

6. Disqualification and Liability

• Seek Discomfort reserves the right to disqualify any entries that do not comply with these rules or are deemed inappropriate or offensive.
• By entering, participants agree to indemnify Seek Discomfort against any claims arising from their submissions, including copyright infringement or privacy violations.
• Seek Discomfort is not responsible for any technical issues or difficulties with submissions. By entering, you release Seek Discomfort from any liability related to the contest.

7. Privacy

• Personal information collected during the contest will be used solely for contest administration and promotional purposes and will not be shared with third parties.
  
  

8. Changes and Cancellation

• Seek Discomfort reserves the right to modify or cancel the contest at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.

9. Governing Law

• The contest and its terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Seek Discomfort is based.
