Seek Discomfort Run Club Code of Conduct
As part of the Seek Discomfort Run Club, every member and leader is expected to help create a community built on respect, inclusion, and safety. To keep our clubs welcoming and supportive spaces, we ask that all participants follow these guidelines:
Respect the community
- Conduct yourself in a way that makes every member feel welcome, valued, and comfortable.
No harassment of any kind
- Unwanted verbal, sexual, or physical contact with others will not be tolerated.
Keep it positive
- Refrain from using negative or derogatory language, spreading rumors, or making accusations against teammates, other clubs, or participants- whether in person, at events, or online.
Honor differences
- Respect all ages, religions, ethnicities, genders, and sexual orientations when interacting with anyone connected to the Run Club or the broader running community.
Prioritize safety
- Behave in ways that protect yourself and others from physical harm or legal risk.
Speak up
- If you experience or witness inappropriate behavior, report it in writing to your local Club leader or a Seek Discomfort team member.
Failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in loss of membership, at the discretion of the Club leader or Seek Discomfort.
